So, it’s always a good idea to save where you can and use some clever hacks to save money whilst also impressing guests, and this couple did exactly that.

The bride and groom tied the knot at The Giraffe Venue in Tregynon, Central Wales, and instead of splashing out on late-night grub, they wheeled out a gleaming gold trolley stacked with Pot Noodles.

The quirky hack was posted on TikTok by the venue @giraffe_shed and the clip quickly racked up views.

The hosts said: “This pot noodle trolley went down a storm.”

Wedding cake hack

That’s not the only wedding food hack that’s making headlines.

Earlier this year a mum stunned fans with her cheap and easy wedding cake hack.

This hack is also perfect for those looking for a glamorous cake for birthday parties or christenings.

The mum, known as ‘theleggofamily’ on TikTok, has revealed her £10 trick to create a three-tier wedding cake – it’s budget-friendly and delicious.

She explained that she bought three boxes of Taste the Difference Victoria Sponge Cake for £2 each from Sainsbury’s using Nectar prices, plus £3 on icing, as well as cake toppers from Temu.

She began by getting a cake stand and removing the cakes from their packaging.

She then used Vanilla Buttercream-style icing as an edible glue to stick the bottom of the first tier onto the stand.

She used a cake slicer to cut the top of the cake to create a flat surface, then added the second tier, applied buttercream icing, and repeated the process with the third tier.

She finished by icing the entire cake.

Next, she used an icing scraper to smooth out the icing and an icing piping tool to decorate the edges of the cake.

She then added decorations she had bought from Temu.

Fans were seriously impressed with her DIY cake hack.

One person wrote: “Only seeing this now after we paid our deposit for our wedding cake in August.”
