A FORGOTTEN feature on Sky TV allows viewers to unlock hundreds of extra movies and shows for free.
Adding Sky Cinema will have the very latest movie releases available at the tap of a button but for those feeling the pinch there are some alternatives that’ll cost you nothing.
And these aren’t filled with unknown titles either, you can get some huge Hollywood star-studded films free and legally.
It’s all possible thanks to the AirPlay feature on Sky Glass and Sky Stream.
The tool was only added to Sky’s streamed TV products last year but is often missed by viewers.
While it’s handy for showing friends photos and videos stored on an iPhone, the feature opens up many more apps than Sky’s system currently has.
This means free streaming apps can be beamed from your iPhone to your TV.
Among the options is Tubi, which has a number of well-known movies and shows to choose from.
Some you may have heard of include I Know What You Did Last Summer, Death Becomes Her and A Walk Among The Tombstones.
The selection is regularly updated with more titles, as well as Tubi Originals.
All you need to do is download the Tubi app on your iPhone or an iPad.
Then, when you’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network you can start streaming content to your Sky TV device.
You need to look for the icon shown below, which is a rectangle with a triangle pointing up through it.
Tap this, select your Sky TV from the list and it’ll appear on the screen.
As it’s free, you’ll have to sit through the occasional ad.
