British camper reveals the VERY pro kitchen items they won’t travel without

With a quartet of steaks sizzling on an immaculate grill, freshly cooked thick-cut chips sitting pretty in an air fryer and peppercorn sauce simmering on a pan, it’s like a scene from a Michelin-starred restaurant.

However, this particular pro-looking kitchen is actually just how one family cooks when on a camping holiday.

This week, British TikToker @jodazzlers, who owns Dazzler Cleaning Services, showed off the very impressive tent set-up to her 11,500 followers on the social media platform.

A visual tour of the family’s pop-up awning kitchen, likely attached to a caravan or motorhome, revealed a dazzling array of kitchen appliances, proving that camping breaks really can be a home from home.

The clip was captioned ‘We have everything but the kitchen sink!’ and viewers were shown all the things you might expect on a campsite break – including a camping washing up bowl, portable light and foldable tables.

However, as the footage, just over a minute in length continues, which was filmed at an unnamed campsite, things start to get, well, next level.

The camera pans to the Ninja Air Fryer and the freshly cooked chips before showing four sizeable cuts of steak sizzling on a spotless teppanyaki grill.

Sweetcorn and peppercorn sauce are in two pans on a separate gas hob and then the clip reveals a large fridge, packed with water, pizzas and garlic bread – presumably that’s lunch.

Should the family fancy a decent brew, a full-sized kettle is also spotted in the domestic scene.

When the gourmet dinner is served, there’s elegant wine glasses, proper cutlery and what appears to be porcelain crockery too.

It’s all a far cry from the butane stove and can of beans that many campers are used to.

With retailers selling ever more inventive appliances to re-create an al fresco home kitchen – with portable grills, ovens and fridges able to fully replicate what you normally use, camping has become ever more bougie.

Last summer, a British woman shared how she’d taken a TV, toaster, and even a wardrobe and sofa to a British campsite.

Jodie Louise posted on TikTok the family’s well-kitted out and comfortable tent where they’d paid £690 for a pitch at a campsite in Dawlish Warren, Devon.

In the video, the TikToker showed off her regal living quarters, revealing three tent segments including a kitchen with a toaster, grill and kettle, a living room with a blow up sofa, and a double bedroom with a portable wardrobe.

The video also showed a full table set up with comfortable looking sofa style camping chairs, and shoe rack, and blow up screens to provide privacy.

The family came fully prepared for their southern England holiday, packing a zip up wardrobe with several compartments and a hanging rail, not forgetting the accompanying hangers.

Joining her on the trip was Jodie’s partner and their two children.

Responding the the backlash, the holidaying mum has made a number of response videos justifying the well kitted out camping set-up.

She said her and her family were staying at Lady’s Mile Holiday Park in South Devon, boasting several luxury static cavern stays and an onsite swimming pool, playgrounds, an arcade, bar and restaurant, and even a gym and spa.

The luxury camping facilities also offer entertainment for children including ‘really funny pantomimes.’

Viewers of the video took to the comments to express their confusion with one writing: ‘The point of camping is to get away from the house…’ while another said ‘you might as well just rent a caravan.’

A third viewer was also shocked by the impressive array of amenities, writing: ‘Oh my days. I could be abroad in an all-inclusive by the time it takes you to set this up! As lovely as it looks though.’
