A STAR of Taskmaster is raking in the money after taking home just shy of six figures a week.
TV star Alex Horne has seen his bank balance pile higher than ever before with colossal earnings.
According to his latest account filings, comedian Alex is comfortable earning a mammoth £89,000 a week thanks to the success of Taskmaster.
He created the hit format for comedy channel Dave before it moved to Channel 4 after becoming a ratings success.
Alex is now laughing all the way to the bank with his company, Shakey Productions, in which he houses all his TV earnings, bringing in a huge £4.6million in profit for the last financial year.
This figure works out as a booming £89k a year for the TV star.
Overall, Shakey Productions has a massive £12.2million in the bank after the format of the show was sold worldwide.
Taskmaster currently airs versions across America, Canada, Australia and Sweden as well as many other territories.
Currently, Taskmaster is scheduled to air two series a year until 2026.
Greg Davies as usual will host the shows but Alex has now revealed who he would want to take over should the funnyman decide to leave.
He told Radio X earlier this year: “I’ve always said if Greg goes – which he will eventually, because he’s not a healthy man – it’s going to be… I think Trump is the only possible successor.”
The recent series saw podcast star Rosie Ramsey lead the group of famous faces.
She was joined by Ghosts actor Mathew Baynton, comedian and actor Stevie Martin, major US Netflix star Jason Mantzoukas and comedy writer Fatiha El-Ghorri.
