CHERYL has made her long-awaited return to the spotlight after the tragic death of former partner Liam Payne.
The 42-year-old singer makes a bold statement in a glossy video as she promotes skincare brand Nivea.
It marks a new chapter for Cheryl after months away from the public eye.
The Nivea campaign, unveiled today, shows the mum strutting into a studio before taking a seat in front of the cameras and lights.
Cheryl hides her face behind a newspaper, which features the date ‘August 2025’.
Another message flashes up, and reveals: “A New Era, Tomorrow”.
Nivea captioned the clip: “This is right up our street. Tomorrow. 9am. A new era of skincare… guess who’s joining us?”
One delighted fan wrote beneath the video: “Our beauty is back!!!”
Another raved: “I don’t care what it is. I need to buy it! Cheryl’s backkkk!”
Cheryl was left devastated when One Direction star Liam, 31, fell from his hotel balcony in Argentina in October.
Although they had split in 2018, the pair remained close for the sake of their son.
Liam said at the time: “We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world.”
Cheryl, who welcomed Bear, eight, with One Direction star Liam in 2017, was put in charge of Liam’s estate after his death.
She was granted the power of administration over his £28,595,000 fortune and has made plans to put the money aside for their son until the lad is 25.
It comes as The Sun revealed the former X Factor judge is set to return to TV after five years and is in advanced talks to be a mentor on The Voice.
A TV insider told The Sun: “Will.i.am and Cheryl first worked together 16 years ago and have remained good friends ever since.
“She was the obvious choice to mentor his team when the Battle Rounds return four years after being axed.
“A lot has happened in Cheryl’s personal life since she was last working on a talent show — BBC’s The Greatest Dancer — so she’s taking baby steps to put herself back out there.
“Teaming up with will.i.am as a guest mentor seems the perfect way to kick-start her comeback.”
The ITV series is expected to air in early 2026 and bosses hope to convince Cheryl to sign up to the show permanently.
Earlier this year Cheryl was spotted out for the first time after her horrifying stalker ordeal.
A convicted killer who “terrified” Cheryl was jailed.
She feared for her son’s safety when Daniel Bannister repeatedly showed up at her home just weeks after Payne‘s funeral.
