Well, luckily for you, a savvy woman who has made a fortune through the app has revealed the most profitable items to sell.

So if you’ve got perfume you haven’t opened or designer clothes you don’t wear, you’ll need to take notes.
Jesse, 20, started Vinted in the hopes of making a bit of extra cash, but now sells full-time on the marketplace app.
While many thought she would only make an “extra tenner” a week by selling on the app, Jesse has revealed that she has since cashed in almost £160,000 – yes, you heard that correctly.
The reseller, who is now able to spend her days going out for lunch and enjoying Pilates classes, has earned a whopping £159,234.28 in total through the app.
Now, she even has her own e-guide to help others sell on Vinted and claimed she “loves helping girlies elevate.”
As well as being able to go on three holidays this summer thanks to her impressive earnings, Jesse currently has four items listed on her Vinted account, which could see her cash in an extra £320.
Jesse acknowledged that rather than selling her own second-hand items on Vinted, instead she uses suppliers to purchase cheap products in bulk, for a reduced price.
Then, she will then sell these on for profit and not only lists items on Vinted, but also uses eBay, Facebook Marketplace and Depop too.
Jesse shared the four items that have made her the most profit – the first of which was a posh perfume.
Jesse was able to buy a Tom Ford Bitter Peach Eau De Parfum for just £30, but sold it on Vinted for £115, making a profit of £75.
As well as this, she has made money by flogging hair tools too.
She used her supplier to get a Dyson Airstraight for £80, which she then sold for £299, making a profit of £219.
And that’s not all, as the young woman has also made a huge amount of profit by selling clothes too.
Jesse got her hands on an Essentials ‘Fear of God’ Shorts set for only £3, but was then able to sell it on for £100, giving her an impressive profit of £97.
As well as this, as Jesse also got a Nike Windrunner Shorts and T-Shirt set in lilac for just £12, which she was able to flog for £115, giving her a profit of £103.
Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted?

- The only time that an item might be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and there is profit (sells for more than you paid for it). Even then, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it.
- Generally, only business sellers trading for profit (buying goods with the purpose of selling for more than they paid for them) might need to pay tax. Business sellers who trade for profit can use a tax-free allowance of £1,000, which has been in place since 2017.

Jesse’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @jesse.resells, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 745,400 views.
Not only this, but it’s also amassed 21,900 likes and 2,424 comments, with many desperate to know more about how to sell well on the marketplace app.
One user begged: “Hey hun, can you share your supplier please?”
Whilst another eagerly asked: “Supplier please.”
