COLE PALMER’S former partner Connie Grace stunned fans as she wore a dazzling dress.
The Chelsea star and Connie split up last month after 12 months of dating.
They had known each other since they were 17 and started seeing each other last summer, but decided to go their separate ways.
Rumours of their split emerged when they stopped following one another on social media, as first revealed exclusively by The Sun.
Connie later confirmed their separation by addressing abhorrent abuse and remarkable rumours which had surfaced, including one suggesting Palmer had denied a marriage proposal.
But taking to Instagram just before the start of Chelsea’s season – the Blues host FA Cup and Community Shield winners Crystal Palace at 2pm today – she showed there was a silver lining.
Connie, 23, was seen wearing a low-cut silver dress during a trip to the Spanish city of Marbella.
The Mancunian wore her hair down as she completed her look with matching colour wrist bracelets.
She did not write a caption for the post, but many of her 46,500 followers were star-struck nonetheless.
Rushing to the comments, one fan said: “Angel.”
A second said: “Gorgeousss.”
A third added: “Perfect girl.”
Another said: “Unreal.”
A fifth said: “Dream girl.”
When breaking her silence over her split with Chelsea and England star Palmer, Connie had said: “Don’t believe everything you read online.
“The lies that people post to get views/likes is so sad!
“It’s actually wild the amount of abuse I have received from grown men in the last 24hrs! No I have never proposed a marriage lol.”
Following Connie and Palmer’s split, a source told SunSport: “Connie and Cole have known each other since they were teenagers — but handling a relationship in the public eye is never easy.
“Cutting ties on Instagram is a big deal for the young generation and speaks volumes.
“Cole has a lot on at the moment and has been spending time in the Caribbean to learn more about his family roots.”
Palmer is expected to be in action this afternoon for Chelsea as they take on South London rivals Palace.
The 23-year-old, also from Manchester, scored 15 goals and added nine assists in the league last season as Enzo Maresca‘s side achieved a top four finish.
