AT LEAST seven people have been injured after a shooting in New York City with police reportedly still hunting for the gunman.
Emergency services swarmed the Crown Heights area in Brooklyn in the early hours of the morning after multiple reports of gunfire, police confirmed.
Seven victims were found after the shooting and airlifted to hospital, police told The Sun.
Their conditions are yet to be confirmed.
Footage from the scene shows police lights flashing as ambulances rush down the street.
The New York Police Department have urged residents to avoid the area while investigations are ongoing.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage from the area and are interviewing witnesses to try and piece together the shooting.
Investigators are urging anyone with any information to come forward.
