The clash will give Arsenal the chance to get their season off to a positive start if they can lay down a marker against the Red Devils.
Mikel Arteta‘s side has stumbled to second place in each of the last three seasons behind Manchester City and Liverpool.
And fans believe that the North London side will be leaving Manchester with all three points.
This is because they will be wearing their new stunning third kit for the match.
The strip is based on the much-loved “Chapman Edition” away kit from the 2007/08 campaign.
It features an off-white base, maroon logos and gold detailing as well as a classic cannon badge.
Fans have taken to social media to vocalise their claims.
One posted: “We want them in their best kit no excuses.”

Another added: “We are going there to cook United.”
Last season, the Gunners were saved from defeat at Old Trafford in the Premier League by Declan Rice.
The former West Ham star netted a brilliant goal to cancel out Bruno Fernandes‘ free kick in the 1-1 draw.
