A body language expert has revealed how Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce really feel about each other after the popstar appeared on the New Heights podcast.
Taylor made her first podcast appearance on her boyfriend’s show, which he co-hosts with his brother and former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason, on Wednesday evening.
During the podcast, the two seemed more in love than ever as Taylor spoke about her relationship with Travis’ family and even had an emotional moment where she teared up about her music.
And, according to body language expert Judi James, they are a perfect match when it comes to their public displays of affection.
‘Travis’s apple-rounded cheeks and his clenched teeth visible in his smile shows a mix of excitement, anxiety and adoration as he chats through the intro with his brother,’ James said about the high-energy beginning of the show.
‘Taylor appears like magic and their touch rituals underpin their banter in a fascinating and telling form of layered communication and non-verbal “tie-signs” between the pair,’ she continued.
‘There is a sensual overlap, with Taylor’s arm shielded behind Travis’s with his left arm stretched over her and his hand placed on her lap in a signal of intimacy. This touch behavior shows off their romantic baseline.’
James also noted that the couple display similar behavior, a tell-tale sign that they’re in sync romantically.

‘As they banter verbally there’s a continual pattern to their twinning behavior: They twine arms, hands and bodies together, untwine and re-twine constantly, showing their individual profiles but always linking back to their very strong and sexual ties as a couple,’ she said.
‘It makes her teasing of him balance up. At one point she “frames” his face with her hands and he ducks his head like a puppy, even leaning to kiss her palm compliantly but then they re-twine or his arm is around her back and she’s slapping his thigh to laugh as though they share the same body,’ James explained.
However, the body language expert pointed out signs of ‘inner anxiety’ from Travis as Jason interviewed Taylor.
‘He bites his lip, sucks his lips inward and even gently mimes silent words with his lips as Taylor speaks as though helping her out,’ James shared, adding that Taylor proved she could ‘more than hold her own when it comes to some eloquent banter.’
But their relationship has another aspect to it, too – one that’s more emotional.
James pointed out that when Taylor began to tear up as she recalled the story of buying back her masters, Travis was completely in check with his partner.
‘He seems especially tuned into Taylor emotionally, with mirroring and anticipatory rituals, and then a very sweet display of tactile support after her tears, where we can see both his hands performing small stroking gestures on her back, hip and her hand to reward and show support,’ James said.

During the podcast, Taylor also spoke about her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, and her newfound love for football.
Travis and Taylor began dating in the summer of 2023, after he attended her Eras Tour in Kansas City.
