Wimbledon expansion plans to almost triple the size of the tennis site have been given the go ahead following a bitter High Court Battle.
The plans will see the All England Club build 39 new grass courts on land purchased from Wimbledon Park Golf Club in 2018.
Campaigners from Save Wimbledon Park (SWP) took the matter to High Court after plans to grow the club were approved by the London Mayor’s office last September.
