Laurence Fox holds second wedding ceremony with conspiracy theorist podcaster Elizabeth Barker as couple are joined by friends including Julie Hartley-Brewer, Holly Valance and controversial priest Calvin Robinson

Laurence Fox has staged a second wedding ceremony with his conspiracy theorist wife, Elizabeth Barker, in front of their celebrity pals.

The former actor turned online provocateur and failed politician tied the knot again at an intimate service over the weekend.

Fox, 47, exchanged vows in a religious ceremony just two weeks after the former GB News presenter’s low-key union with Elizabeth at a registry office in London

Some of Fox’s closest allies attended the marriage, including former pop star and Neighbours actress Holly Valance, future Real Housewives of London star Juliet Mayhew, and presenter Julie Hartley-Brewer.

Controversial cleric Calvin Robinson presided over the event, and shared several photos to Instagram – including one where he stood in full cassock and biretta beside Laurence, who wore a cream suit and dark sunglasses while smoking a cigarette.

Former stage and screen star Fox – who was previously married to actress Billie Piper, the mother of his two sons –  married Elizabeth at a registry office last month to avoid ‘encountering anyone from the Church of England’.

‘Proper wedding in a few days with nearest and dearest in the eyes of God,’ he added in a post on X shortly after his wedding.

British priest Calvin, who officiated the latest ceremony, is a former GB News presenter and deacon who was suspended by the Free Church of England last year for opposing women’s ordination.

Earlier this year, he was removed from his role as priest-in-charge at St Paul’s Anglican Catholic Church in Michigan, US, after he appeared to perform a Nazi salute at the end of a speech at the National Pro-Life Summit in Washington DC.

Video footage appeared to show him raising his arm while quoting Elon Musk’s phrase ‘My heart goes out to you,’ that appeared similar to a straight-arm gesture associated with fascist regimes.

The Anglican Catholic Church swiftly revoked his licence, stating: ‘Such actions are harmful, divisive, and contrary to the tenets of Christian charity.’

Calvin defended himself at the time, claiming it was ‘a joke’ and a piece of ‘dry British wit’ aimed at mocking liberals. ‘For the record, in case it needs saying: I am not a Nazi,’ he wrote on social media.

He was previously ousted from GB News for defending host Dan Wootton during a misconduct investigation, and now regularly appears on conservative platforms to discuss culture war issues.

Fox’s new wife Elizabeth has drawn attention for her appearances on the conspiracy-laden podcast Elite Thinking Club, where she has questioned evolution and claimed climate change is a government ‘smokescreen’.

She has also claimed Jeffrey Epstein was ‘popped’ after Prince Andrew’s Newsnight interview.

Speaking in February 2021 in a video on conspiracies surrounding the Royal Family, Barker claimed paedophile Epstein was killed because of his links with Prince Andrew.

The disgraced financier died in prison in August 2019 in what was ruled to be a suicide. However, he had been arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking shortly before his death, prompting a raft of theories suggesting he had been murdered.

She said on the podcast: ‘The minute Prince Andrew had to do that interview that was it, Jeffrey was going to be popped.

‘Because he’s royalty – and you mess with the royals you ain’t going to come out alive are you.’

Californian Elizabeth described herself on Instagram as a model, body double and stuntwoman was born in America but now lives in the UK.

Fox’s celebrity pal Holly Valance, 42, appeared to be solo at the wedding following reports she has split from her husband, property tycoon Nick Candy. The pair, who married in 2012 and share two daughters, have not officially confirmed their split but have reportedly been living separate lives for several months.

Juliet, meanwhile, is set to star in the upcoming Real Housewives of London series, which has just wrapped filming and is expected to air later this year.

The new Bravo franchise has been tipped to bring a fresh wave of drama to the capital’s elite circles – and Juliet, a friend of Holly and fellow Aussie, will be one of the central cast members.

Fox’s second wedding ceremony comes as he faces allegations of sharing an upskirting photo on social media of TV presenter Narinder Kaur, who regularly appears on Good Morning Britain.

The political activist appeared at Woolwich Crown Court wearing a ‘two-tier justice’ cap and was supported by Elizabeth, who held his hand as they walked into court.

Fox is charged with two counts under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, while Ms Kaur, who has waived her right to anonymity, sat in the public gallery.

Fox, of Peldon in Essex, is accused of sharing a sexually intrusive image of Kaur – a regular on Good Morning Britain and GB News – amid an online row over politics.

The photo, which was reportedly taken without her knowledge as she exited a taxi in 2009, was allegedly posted without her consent.

He is facing two counts: the first alleging he shared a ‘photograph or film of a person in an intimate state intending to cause alarm, distress or humiliation,’ and a second count accusing him of sending a ‘photograph or film of genitals to cause alarm, distress or humiliation.’

The charges fall under Section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act, introduced in 2023, which criminalises the intentional sharing of sexual images without consent, with the purpose of causing harm or for sexual gratification.

If convicted, Fox could face up to two years in prison and be placed on the Sex Offenders Register.

Last year, Fox was ordered to pay £180,000 in libel damages after a High Court judge ruled he had defamed former Stonewall trustee Simon Blake and drag performer Crystal by calling them ‘paedophiles’ during an online row.
