The Gallagher brothers still don’t appear to be getting along, despite their lucrative come-back tour kicking off tonight.

But, some might say, they could learn a thing or two from their children, who appear to be enjoying each other’s company ahead of the band’s first appearance in 16 years.

Rumours of the Oasis reunion tour being a ‘cash grab’ have been fuelled by speculation the famously warring siblings are still at loggerheads.

Yet their offspring seemed closer than ever as they chatted about their childhoods in the spotlight.

Noel’s daughter Anais, 25, was joined by Liam’s children Molly, 27, Lennon, 25, and Gene, 24, at a photo shoot for the July issue of W Magazine.

Anais said: ‘I have memories of being super young at shows and falling asleep with ear defenders on. The only thing I cared about was how many packets of Milky Way chocolate stars were in the dressing room.’

The tour marks the first time as adults the children will see their fathers perform together. Lennon said: ‘I can’t wait… It’s a massive, monumental thing, it’s going to be fantastic.’

Aspiring musician Lennon and Anais, the band’s photographer, will attend every Oasis gig, despite the brothers not even letting tour staff have free tickets for their families to any show.

Insiders close to the band told the Mail that Liam left rehearsals in the Cardiff Principality Stadium early on Wednesday.

A source said: ‘Rehearsals started on Monday, just the tech and band. Liam and Noel arrived on Wednesday, but Liam left the rehearsals after just eight songs for Noel to carry on by himself.’

Despite the brothers appearing in an Adidas shoot together last month, they reportedly spent only 14 minutes in the same building for the ad campaign.

Liam arrived an our earlier than Noel, insiders said, and computer graphics were used to mesh the two together for the photograph.

The brothers famously fell out after a backstage row in 2009 which sealed the demise of the 1990s duo, with Noel insisting he would never work with Liam again and describing him as ‘a fork in a world of soup’.

It is widely believed there are financial motivations behind the 41-show tour, expected to net the brothers some £600 million.

It comes as the 23-song set list can be revealed as having most of the band’s most beloved songs, with the two-hour gig in the Welsh capital finishing with Don’t Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova.

Anais is said to have helped bring the estranged siblings back together after ‘planting the idea’ of a reconciliation.

She is is also said to have helped piece together the set list and give an insight into what younger fans might want to hear.

Their return to the stage has been one of the most anticipated music events over the past decade.
