A SLEW of stars have signed up to join Alexander Armstrong as part of his brand new Channel 4 show.
The Pointless host will be taking some of his celebrity pals for a pint and a walk for his programme, Perfect Pub Walks.
Each episode of the show will see the actor and TV presenter joined by a showbiz pal as they explore the best countryside pubs and walks to retreat to across four different counties.
Across the series, the host and his celebrity mates will explore trails in Yorkshire, Kent, Monmouthshire and Shropshire.
As well as sampling the finest beers and fresh British air, the walks will provide a chance for interesting conversation and tales from the celebrity world.
Top Gear and The Grand Tour star James May is one of the stars who has signed up for the show.
He will join Alexander on a pub walk when the series launched on Channel 4 sister channel, More4.
Also on the series is comedian and Strictly Come Dancing winner Chris McCausland and the nation’s favourite funnyman, Sir Lenny Henry.
Rounding out the guests will be Springwatch star and wildlife presenter, Chris Packham.
Speaking about the series, host Alexander said: “Nothing beats a walk in a beautiful landscape, a good pub, a pint and a great chat.
“Filming Perfect Pub Walks has been a complete delight, topped off by some fantastic conversations with four terrific icons.”
Clemency Green, the commissioning editor for Channel 4, added: “Perfect Pub Walks is a beautiful series exploring stunning areas of the UK, as well as delving into a variety of topics and issues that come up in conversation between our brilliant host and his array of wonderful guests.”
It is another show to add to Alexander’s belt in addition to fronting Pointless which we revealed last year had been handed a further celebrity series as well as an 18th regular edition.
