I think this might be my plant of the year.
Not only does it bring summer-style flowers throughout winter, it grows very quickly, has beautiful glossy green leaves and requires little intervention.

There’s so much on the Copper & Green website to choose from, you could blow your whole budget.

Kneelo Knee Pads £14.44
I’ve learned to my cost how important it is to protect your knees and these kneepads are perfect.

Seedball Hedgehog Mix £7
Designed to attract insects for hedgehogs to feed on – you just need to scatter them on top of the soil and water well.
Their lovely jars and tins and pots make Seedball a really great-looking affordable gift for gardeners.

And they’re a proper job – none of this plastic nonsence – which will instill greater confidence in older children.

IT’s all very well sitting out in your garden of an evening, but if ts prone to mosquitoes it can be a nightmare.

One of my favourite gardening books of the year – Lucy’s book helps you make the most of your outside space.
Relatable and do-able – its a must- have guide for gardeners new and old.
What Grows Together, by Jamie Butterworth £22
My other favourite book of the year – Jamie’s book will help you pick winning plant combinations whatever you’re after, and whatever budget you have.
Put together beautifully, but also in language that anyone can understand, it would make a really lovely gift for under the tree.
